FixCounter privacy policy
FixCounter is made by FelixRay Pty Ltd. (Support) This page says what the app stores about people, where, and who can see it. Last updated: 11 October 2026.
Who this is for
FixCounter is a till and back-office system for repair and accessories shops. It is used by the shop's staff. A shop signs staff up; the public does not sign in. Customers of the shop never use FixCounter themselves, but the shop records some of their details to run repairs and sales.
What FixCounter stores
| About | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Staff | Name, the store or stores they work at, role (store staff or back office), a PIN (kept only as a one-way scrambled value, never the PIN itself), when they sign in and out, shift and break times, commission earned. | To sign people in, to run the shift and hours reports, and to work out commission. |
| Customers | For a repair: first name and mobile number, the phone model, the problem and a note. For a sale: the items, the amount and how it was paid. A receipt may show the shop's name, address and phone number. | To run repairs, give receipts, and handle refunds and warranty. |
| The shop | Stores, prices, stock, orders to the warehouse and suppliers, closing reports, messages between a store and the warehouse. | To run the business. |
| Computers | Each set-up computer has a random token kept in a cookie, and the time it was last used. When a PIN or a pairing code is tried, the internet address it came from is kept, to block guessing. | To know which store a computer belongs to, and to keep the system safe. |
| Support | If someone presses "Report a problem": what they typed, the screen they were on, the window size, the browser, and the last few error messages. They may add one picture. | To fix problems. Sent only to FelixRay support. |
| Audit | A record, that cannot be edited, of sensitive actions: who moved a computer to another store, who made a pairing code, who changed a price or a PIN. It never contains a PIN. | Accountability and safety. |
What FixCounter does not do
- No advertising, no tracking, no analytics, no selling or sharing of data.
- It does not use your location or microphone. The camera is used only if a staff member chooses to scan a barcode (read on the computer, not stored) or to photograph a supplier's packing list so the app can read it. Today the packing-list photo is read inside FixCounter's own system and is not sent to any outside service. If that ever changes, this page is updated first.
- It keeps cookies only to sign in and to remember which store a computer belongs to. They are needed for the app to work.
- Today FixCounter does not send text messages or e-mail itself.
The Windows app from the Microsoft Store
The FixCounter app in the Microsoft Store is the same FixCounter, opened in its own window. It loads FixCounter from the internet each time and saves no sales, repairs, prices or staff details on the computer. Everything on this page applies to it in the same way.
Where the data is kept
In a database run by Amazon Web Services in Sydney, Australia, encrypted in transit. FelixRay staff who run the system can access it to support the shops.
How long, and your rights
Records that a business must keep, such as closed trading days, sales, refunds and their receipts, are kept for 5 years and cannot be edited or deleted in the meantime. A staff member who leaves is made inactive: their name stays on the records they touched. A customer's repair details (name, mobile number and the note on a repair) can be removed on request, unless a sale or refund record still needs them during those 5 years. To ask to see, correct or remove your details, write to support@agents247.io. A customer of a shop can also ask the shop.
Children
FixCounter is for working staff and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with its date.
